Go out your comfort zone! You'll be surprised at the results. Gorgeous Camilla normally lives in black but choosing a long white maxi dress for her session with her blooming adorable family meant their outfits went well together. And not everyone is used to or comfortable being in front of the camera but still want those wonderful emotive family photos. So.......jump out your comfort zone and put your trust in your photographer and do those things you'd not necessarily do.
I always try and make my families enjoy the session and not have to worry or know what to do. I always direct the session and give my families prompts and actions to do with each other. So you're not stood there, awkwardly not knowing what to do and feeling embarrassed. Instead, you're having an amazing time, connecting, playing and having genuine fun with your spouse and children.
And, whilst doing this, I'm capturing the sweetest moments of you all! We used one of my favourite spots on the North Essex coast, not too far from my studio in Thorrington, Colchester.
