Staying at home is probably something we have become more accustomed to since COVID-19. Being forced to stay at home creates more closeness than ever before. More cuddles, more parent and child time, more stories, more playing and more cooking. We can be grateful for the little things these lockdown times have given us. Perhaps with a newborn, Dad would normally be back at work after 2 weeks and miss many moments of babies first few months, instead both parents are on hand for nurturing, teaching and being a team with a new baby.
A little later than planned, due to lockdown, I got to meet this adorable family in their home , in the small Essex village of Great Bentley, to capture precious moments with their new family of four.
At home sessions are so useful for those with more than one child. There's no packing everything up and heading out the house, no early wake up call to drive to a studio and no wondering what to wear for a new Mum. With my luxurious at home newborn sessions, I come to you, I also bring a selection of my client wardrobe dresses for Mum and I bring wraps for baby. When shooting, it's all natural. Capturing moments and emotion is what I do best. Also, if you have a pet, let's involve them too - I adore animals!
