Capturing your baby within the first 14 days is the best time to have a newborn baby photo shoot. After this time they tend to start being much more alert and wriggly, not ideal for sleepy baby photos.

So if you're wondering when to book your newborn photo shoot, I always recommend anytime from your 20 week scan and before baby is here to ensure a slot can be saved for you. I only take a certain amount of newborns per month to allow for early/late arrivals so spots are limited.

I offer different types of newborn sessions depending on what you'd like. Studio newborn and In-home newborn sessions.

During any newborn session, lots of variations of photos are taken. Baby alone, baby and any siblings, parents and baby and parents individually with baby. Lastly I capture the details, those little hands, the ears, the cute toes!
