I have the sweetest stretch of beach only 20 minutes from where I live in sweet Essex, and I truly love to shoot there! Not only is it light under foot which lifts any colour, it looks like you could be anywhere. Sometime's people are surprised when I tell them where I shot the sessions at.
Outdoor shoots are so versatile and I'd say, more natural. You're not faced with 4 walls, you have space not only to move but I'm shooting from further away as well, seeming less intrusive. This wonderful mumma-to-be chose a dress from my studio wardrobe and both hubby and daughter were dressed perfectly! The weather was dry and very, very bright with quite strong winds! We worked with it though, as it's often windy at the beach.
