I love having mums and their babies into my Essex studio, in fact they are one of my favourite genres to photograph! When this beautiful Mumma got in touch about one of my pretty motherhood sessions, I knew they were going to be a dream to photograph. A family photographer's dream!
What are Motherhood Sessions?
Motherhood sessions are special shoots just for Mum's and their children. There's such a special bond and I often don't think it's captured enough. Mum’s are never in front of the camera s much as they should be, they are normally the ones taking the photos. (Dad’s, take photos of them sometimes too!) A relationship between a Mother and child is so strong and having those memories frozen in pictures is priceless.
Fatherhood sessions are also available and what a great present it would be for dad's too! Now I know some Dad's aren't sometimes that keen to get in front of the camera but capturing these moments can be so important for lots of reasons!
In my sweet, white and minimal Colchester photography studio, we cuddled, played and laughed! I aim to capture natural moments that show emotion! My lovely clients all get issued with a style guide, to help out with outfits and styling. Styling can have a huge impact on the end result and is super important! This sweet trio followed my style guide to the letter and the results speak fro themselves! Creams, greys, light browns and whites go super well with my style and do you know what – these colours will also never go out of fashion! At least looking back in 20 years, you won't be faced with the latest fashion craze, just stylish, memorable images.
