For Ivory White, I wanted it to ooze white and neutral tones from the name of the business to the end product. My style is unique, luxurious and modern and I adore creating images based on this in my Colchester studio and outside in Essex, Suffolk and London locations.
When I was little, photoshoots were big flashing lights, dark backdrops and stiff posing. I couldn't get further away from that and that's just how I like it! There are so many options and you can be as creative as you like these days. I've chosen to base my style on what I love the most. Often when you love something, the best comes from it. And I definitely agree with that!
Props. Other photographers and photo shoots years ago often included lots of props. But for my sessions it's all about the people in them. Nothing detracting from the sweet baby skin or interactions with your family. Why would you want a random prop in your photo, something that's not yours and doesn't really have any relation to you or your children. Stripping it back in my session means I can spend my time photographing what you came in for, natural moments and details.
I also adore the finer things in life, love a luxurious day out and elegant surroundings. My shoots are also based around these points. My client wardrobe has been carefully selected with flattering dresses meaning mums and ladies can feel like they are off out shopping and selecting a garment just for their shoot.
White. It's one of the hardest colours to photograph but when it's done correctly, it's beautiful. And when a family co-ordinate in whites and creams, the end result is wonderful! Just take a look at this cute pure and simply styled, family session!
